How Our Tool Works

Bulk Barcode Generator is a 100% client-side application. This means:

All barcode generation happens in your web browser using JavaScript
Your Excel/CSV files are processed locally on your device
No data is uploaded to any server
No barcode data is stored anywhere
We cannot see your product codes, SKUs, or any other data you input

What We Do Collect

We use minimal analytics to understand how our tool is used:

Google Analytics: Anonymous usage statistics (pages visited, time on site, country). No personal data or barcode content is tracked.
Server logs: Standard web server logs (IP address, browser type, timestamps) for security purposes. These are automatically deleted after 30 days.

Cookies

We use minimal cookies:

Analytics cookies: To count visitors (can be blocked without affecting functionality)
Preference cookies: To remember your barcode settings (stored locally, not transmitted)

Third-Party Services

Our tool loads JavaScript libraries from CDNs (Cloudflare, jsDelivr) to function. These services may log access but do not receive your barcode data.

Data Security

Since your data never leaves your browser, the security of your barcode data depends on your own device security. We recommend:

Using a secure, updated browser
Not using public computers for sensitive data
Clearing browser data if using shared devices

Children's Privacy

Our service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
